Virtual Earth Village (VEV) is operated by Peaceful Planet. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address, and anything you choose to add to your Village Profile (name, bio, interests, photos, links).
• Content you post: Circles, Seeds, Teachings, discussion posts, and any photos or videos you upload.
• Basic usage data: things like when you joined and when you were last active, used only to run the community (e.g. showing “3h ago” on a post).

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't run third-party ad trackers or analytics scripts on VEV — there's nothing here quietly following you around the web.
• We don't share your email or profile info with outside companies, except the service providers below who help us run VEV.

Cookies

VEV uses a single essential cookie to keep you logged in between visits. That's it — no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share data with

• Supabase (our database, authentication, and file-storage provider) hosts all account and content data securely.
• Vercel hosts the application itself.
• Stripe, once payments are enabled, will process any payments you choose to make — VEV never sees or stores your card details directly.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete most of your profile and content at any time from within the app.
• You can control who sees your Village Profile (Anyone / Members-only) from your profile settings.
• To request full account deletion, reach out in the VEV Feedback & Vision Circle (or via direct message once messaging launches) and we'll take care of it.

Children

VEV is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll post an update here with a new “last updated” date.
