Virtual Earth Village — Terms of Use

Welcome to VEV—Virtual Earth Village. This is a small community built on trust — most of what makes it work isn't rules, it's people showing up with good intent. This page just offers shared expectations, so we know what to expect from one another.

By joining, you agree to these terms. If you don't follow them, a moderator may remove content, issue a warning, or — for serious or repeated issues — remove you from the Village. We'd always rather have a conversation and welcome you back than let harm continue unaddressed, but we will act to protect the community as needed.

How we treat each other here.

The terms

1. Be kind. No harassment, hate speech, threats, personal attacks, or communication meant to demean or harm another member.
2. No spamming. Don't repeatedly post promotional links, advertisements, or the same content across Circles and Seeds. Sharing something genuinely useful — your book, your project, a helpful resource — is welcome. Flooding the community with it is not.
3. Be honest. Don't impersonate someone else, misrepresent who you are, or knowingly spread false or misleading information.
4. Respect privacy. Don't share another member's personal information, photos, or private conversations without their consent.
5. Keep it legal. No illegal content, and no content or activity that facilitates harm to others.
6. Share what's yours. Content you post should be your own, or properly credited to whoever it belongs to.
7. Protect the space. Don't attempt to disrupt, exploit, or abuse the platform itself — including creating fake accounts, evading a removal, or circumventing these terms in any other way.

What happens if terms aren't followed

• First concern: a warning or a removed post, with an explanation of what happened and why.
• Repeated or serious issues: removal from the Village.
• Severe issues (threats, harassment, illegal activity): immediate removal, no warning required.

Moderators will use judgment here — the goal is a community where everyone feels safe and happy to be here.

Your content, your ownership

You retain ownership of anything you post to VEV. By posting, you give VEV the license needed to display and distribute that content within the platform so other members can see it. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share whatever you post.

No warranty

VEV is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the platform running well and the community healthy, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or any specific result from using VEV.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peaceful Planet and Virtual Earth Village are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any interactions, transactions, or collaborations that happen as a result of connections made here.

Account termination

You can leave VEV at any time. We may suspend or remove an account for violating the Community Guidelines above, or for activity that puts the platform or its members at risk.

AI-assisted content

Some text, images, videos, and other digital assets on VEV were created or enhanced with AI tools under human direction and final editorial review.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll post an update here. Continued use of VEV after a change means you accept the updated terms.
